Controller
Assists in the financial reports; budget preparation and monitoring; prepares cost data for special projects;
assists
with audit preparation and interacts with external auditors, backs-up all positions in finance department as
necessary.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assists with preparation of the clinics operational and capital budgets.
2. Assists in the preparation of financial reports.
3. Back up General Ledger Accountant, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable Functions, and personnel.
4. Participates in internal and external financial audits.
5. Provides customer service to internal and external customers and stakeholders.
6. Participates in the Performance Improvement Processes in the Clinic
7. The employee must work well under pressure meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines. The
employee shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required:
• Bachelor degree in Accounting or
• Associate degree in Accounting and 2 years equivalent experience in accounting or
• 4 years experience as an accountant performing similar responsibilities
Preferred:
• Experience using computerized integrated accounting system
• Experience preparing financial reports
• Experience in auditing
