Alcohol Stabilization Unit (ASU)
The ASU is located at the Southwest side of the Vickey Street
Office.
The ASU provides "detox with dignity" to reclaim lives, save families, and return
productive citizens back to the community. The unit has a team that includes a
physician's assistant, masters level clinician, case manager, behavioral health
specialists, support specialist, and emergency medical technicians. The staff on
the unit, administer a modified social and medical detox to clients within the
Flagstaff community and surrounding areas. The program is designed to stop the
"revolving door syndrome" and ensure all homeless, indigent, and working poor
women and men that are referred to the ASU are clinically triaged, safely detoxed,
and referred to appropriate levels of care or community resources.
The primary goal of the Alchohol Stabilization Unit (ASU)
To provide detoxification services to adults in the Flagstaff community and surrounding areas in
conjunction with Flagstaff Medical Center, Flagstaff Police Department, Guardian Medical
Transport and Coconino County Sheriff’s Office.
