IT Director
To provide direct supervision to the IT Department.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Reviews the use of equipment, supplies, and staffing patterns within the range of supervision.
2. Provides oversight for department operation of IT.
3. Reviews budget reports and operational costs within supervised department.
4. Assists with other technological aspects of the organization.
5. Participates in resource development and implementation.
6. Creates, Edits and Maintains IM policies for the organization where applicable.
7. Works with the Safety Officer on the implementation of environment, safety and equipment plans.
8. Oversees and reviews the establishment of orientation and training of staff supervised.
9. Identifies opportunities for improvement within the operational practices of the agency as a member of the
Operational Services Committee.
10. Member of the Executive Leadership Committee.
11. Project manager for Information Technology Projects.
12. The employee must work well under pressure meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
The employee shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
13. Provides customer service to internal and external customers and stakeholders; includes providing
direction and training to staff on computer system use and interfacing with Northern Arizona Regional Behavioral
Health Authority’s ( NARBHA) Information Systems Department.
14. Participates in the Performance Improvement Processes in the Clinic.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or related field or Associate of Science Degree and two
(2) years experience in working with computer systems, including network administration, hardware installation,
supervision, budgeting, software use and troubleshooting.
• Current transferable experience substitutes for specific computer systems experience.
Preferred:
• Three years in all of the above.
